The reason for my sanity is hope. If without this hope then I’d be someone else. My hope for what’s to come drives me, and they tell me not to expect too much just because. Failed expectations are meant to bring hurt, but expecting nothing will surely still hurt in the future. My sanity is sitting on the tip of a double edged sword called hope.

Have you ever looked into the mirror and barely recognize the person staring back at you? Looked into your reflection’s eyes and wondered if anyone else can find what you see inside of them? Wanting to change but you feel as if certain circumstances are preventing you from doing so? Longing for contentedness, situations you once hoped to never experience, or even losing yourself?
